“Life is not about finding yourself, it’s about creating yourself.”
~George Bernard Shaw

My Roots
I am in my early twenties- Originally from Portland, Jamaica, a place where a significant part of my heritage lies. Not to mention My upbringing in the diverse Greater Toronto Area has been instrumental in shaping me into the person I am today, as I was immersed in a melting pot of cultures and perspectives. More recently I graduated from York University with a degree in Sociology, which provided me with valuable insights into human behavior and the complex societal structures that influence our lives.
My Journey and Goals
Building a Future
I am focused on developing my career in the field of social services.
Navigating my Path
Being in foster care has profoundly influenced my perspective and journey, instilling in me resilience, empathy, and a deep understanding of the complexities of the human experience. It has shaped my desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others and has fueled my passion for advocating for those who may be facing similar challenges. My personal experiences in foster care have inspired me to pursue a career in social services, where I can use my own story to connect with and support individuals in need.
